The next version of Android, Android M, will show its face at the upcoming Google IO 2015 developer conference.
Android M will feature too many user interface changes, largely because of the fact that Android Lollipop introduced things like material design.
The first thing to expect in Android M is better performance. While Android Lollipop was the first to support 64-bit processing and use Android runtime, Google still has a few things to fix as far as battery life goes.
Android M may include native finger print authentication support.Google launching finger print security support on the launch of Android M.According to CNET.THe new feature would be an important addition to help Android OS catch up with IOS,which support Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
it would make plenty of sense to see the fingerprint sensors included in the next Nexus devices that are supposed to launch this fall. Recent report have said that Google is working with two companies on next-gen Nexus handsets this year, including LG and Huawei. Obviously, even with fingerprint support in Android M, existing Nexus devices won’t be able to use the functionality as they all lack fingerprint sensors.
Another feature that has been requested over the last few years is multi-window support, or the ability to have multiple apps open in different windows at once. While this would be somewhat hard to utilize on a smaller device, it could really come in handy on larger tablets.
